100 Words - 14

We were trying to decide if we were ready to try pregnancy again, when the towers fell down. I turned on the tv just when a plane hit the second tower. My pregnancy after loss email group was abuzz with emails - shock, disbelief, sadness. One prevailing question was, "How could we bring a child into such a world?" For me the real question was, "How could we not?" We needed to show them what intolerance and hate leads to. Needed to teach them love, patience and tolerance. We teach them that, then put the world into their hands.
