On Sept 11th, I sat at work and waited while Mr Kir sat in a NJ courthouse ending his first marriage with a divorce decree. That day when so many families were being torn apart, and many people were losing the people they loved most in the world, a judge was making it possible for my family to start, for the person I loved the most to truly be mine.
