100 Words - 3

Wait, what? An airplane flew into the World Trade Center?

Wait, WHAT? Another one?

Now the Pentagon?

Now a field in Pennsylvania? Will they come here next?

I have never been so afraid.

For the first time ever, I tune my radio to NPR. I hang on every word. The internet has no news. I need to know.

It seems to be over. Hopefully.

At home, I don't watch the news on TV. Crash, fireballs, jumpers, implosion, over and over. No thanks.

I see the footage only a handful of times, but I can never forget. "We will never forget."
